Title: Julia A. Moore The Sweet Singer of Michigan
Post by: iago on August 16, 2009, 11:12:19 PM
Julia A. Moore was a poet in the late 1800s. She is renowned for being one of the worst poets of all time. Her poems are grammatical nightmares, and her subjects are gruesome and horrible.

That being said, they're fun to read, which is why she had some fame. You can find some of her works here:

I clicked on one at random (http://web.archive.org/web/20070922091137/www.wmich.edu/english/txt/Moore/Little.Andrew.html), and it was about a child drowning. Very pleasant! :)

Rhyming 'Homer' with 'Homer'.... genius!

But yeah, she sucks. That's half the fun, though :)

Wow, that's, like, something she'd write! :P
