Title: Local DOS exploit for the Linux kernel 2.6 series
Post by: mynameistmp on June 05, 2005, 06:00:39 PM
Some guy named alert7 found an exploit in ioctl_by_bdev() for the 2.6 series:

Apparently it works up to and including 2.6.12-rc4.

Interesting.

I'll have to be upgrading when 2.6.12 comes out (if they patch it)
