Title: Officer fails to intimitate photographer
Post by: iago on January 25, 2010, 10:21:15 AM
http://carlosmiller.com/2010/01/25/federal-officers-twice-fail-at-intimidating-photographer-videos/

www.carlosmiller.com is a great blog. This particular post is a couple videos by a cameraman who was asked by the police why he's taking pictures of the federal buildings from a public sidewalk. Fortunately, he knew his rights and wasn't intimidated.

He was under no obligation to ID himself, unless the officer intends to detain him.

If the officer didn't know what a Terry Stop was, he needs to go back to Cop School.

I think a terry stop is a very important part of law enforcement, though. It gives an officer the right (duty?) to stop a person who they believe just committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime, without a warrant. Basically, without being able to perform a terry stop, police are 90% useless.

Did you know that 83% of statistics are made up on the spot?

WTF IS INTIMITATE?

IS IT A MIX BETWEEN INTIMIDATE AND INTIMATE?  OR INTIMIDATE AND IMITATE?
