Title: iPhone / iPad Programming
Post by: Joe on June 30, 2010, 04:11:10 AM
Since I'm apparently not the only one interested in this anymore, I figured I'd make a thread on it. I've been working with Cocoa Touch and Objective-C for a few months and have one app on the App Store, and Newby's also starting.. probably much to his father's distaste.

A few course podcasts:
Stanford University (http://deimos3.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/itunes.stanford.edu.2024353965.02024353968) (class website (http://cs193p.stanford.edu/))
University of California - Davis (http://deimos3.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/ucdavis-public.3002137116.03002137129)
Madison Area Technical College (http://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/matcmadison.edu.3989485784.03989485786) (advanced iPhone development)

I'll be taking the class featured in the third podcast during spring of 2011. If anyone is interested in getting started, head over to Apple's developer website (http://developer.apple.com/), create a free account and download the SDK. Oh, and you have to have a Intel-based Mac, but if you don't suck at life, you already have one.

He's actually the one that requested it. =P
