Title: Slackware Book
Post by: Newby on June 19, 2005, 01:12:18 PM
http://slackbook.lizella.net/

It's an up-to-date guidebook for Slackware.

It's pretty neat. I'm gonna give it a read later on.

(Joe, if you didn't figure out PPP yet, there's info on PPP in there, I think.)

Ah. Read some about that in my Cisco book earlier this year. I didn't do much reading (or at least as much as I should have), but it was still a good book. We ended up on network maintenance duty most days.

A hardware modem? Not this Winmodem crap. Them don't work in Linux. If you're sure its a hardware modem, you've got yourselfs a deal and three quarters!
