Title: Bugs
Post by: iago on July 23, 2005, 12:31:40 AM
I was coming home from my dad's cottage today, and it sounded like it was raining, there were thousands of bugs hitting the windshield all the way down the highway.  Our headlights were dark with squashed bugs.  I put my hand out the window a few times, and there are probably 5-10 bugs/SECOND hidding it!

When I went to Canada I actually remember 2 things driving.  Really bad fog, and tons of bugs.

Why would you put your hand out there? That's disgusting.

I had to do it about every 15 minutes to get the bug goo off the headlights.

Because it felt so neat! :)

This is the worst year ever for mosquitoes.  Well, in recorded history.

Apparently, in the country, they're emptying their bug zappers by the pound!

This is why I love living on the coast.

*Just got home from the movies*

Iowa seems to be alright!, august is bad here for mosquitos, the high crops along with the moisture is a breeding ground for them, other then that it's not bad.

It actually was pretty good as far as bugs/mosquitos. Albeit I can't stand the constant sound of the crickets/cicadas, but that's another story.

Strangely, at the campground this weekend, there were very few bugs.  Hmm!

And that's because bugs hate camping :D
