This one might be a little tricky, but eh?
John attended Brian Bragg's annual Christmas Party. John sat in a corner trying to be inconspicious when Bragg came over and began recanting one of his tall tales. "Why yes," began Bragg, "even my days as a younger man were filled with adventures. This beautiful white rabbit skin and that 14 point moosehead on the wall are both animals I shot when I was a lad of just 12. I got them both up in Canada during my July 4th holidays. Two summers later, I shot this beautiful bear you're sitting your feet on." John stood up and said, "Brian, I can't take your bullplop any longer! That story is obviously false!" What was the problem?
Moose season starts in September in Canada.

Nope. He could have done it illegally, if it came to that.
He stood up, and thus wasn't sitting on the bear?
Sorry :P
He was standing on a bear-skin-rug, is what I meant.
Bragg is black. We all know black people can't shoot straight, because they hold their guns sideways and are high.

That's not the answer. If it was, I would have told you.
The rabbit is brown because it was Summer, not white. Rabbits turn white in the winter to blend in so the big bad wolf doesn't eat them.
