To create an account, go to joex86.no-ip.org:4447
IN INTERNET EXPLORER. Use firefox and face my wrath.
To sign on, open the advanced preferences in gaim and set the server to joex86.no-ip.org. Some preference thing in the real AIM, which sucks by the way.
EDIT -
To contact me, simply message me at "Joe".
Post here if you register.
I used Firefox :/ And I can't find anyone else :( You're server sucks. You can't even IM yourself.

Flame the hobby programmer who wrote it, not me.
QuoteAnd in addition I am very frustrated I could not get Chat's working. But what does work on this AIM server is registration, logging in, instant messages, buddy list (feedbag), all of AIM's add-on stuff (sometimes), Profiles, email changing and formatting screen names. What does not work is directory info, chat, stats service, and a lot of features I never got through with implementing on the server side.
He clearly states that chat doesn't work. I blame you for not reading.
Well Joe, crack open the source and make it work.
QuoteHe clearly states that chat doesn't work. I blame you for not reading.
I read it. I asumed he meant that chatting, such as entering a chat room (more than peer <> peer) didn't work. I blame you for understanding where I didn't.
I'm taking you to court. I want my five minutes back.
I blame Joe for stealing source and not understand it. =) And, also not stating that he stole it until it was proven that it sucks. :)
@Ergot:
LoRd[nK] is taking you to court. He wants his phrase back. (He said that same thing after reading my WoW reversal topic)
@Krazed:
Its VisualBasic, I can understand it if I want. I'm just too damn lazy, and theres better things to do with my time.

1. Making random pointless code
2. Whining about said random pointless code
6. Claiming said random pointless code was stolen from pscode.com

Read about him. I'm not 17. Duh.
Do you really think I could have coded that from no references? No. And I cant fluently read C++ either, so gaim's code is out of the question.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.

First of all, gaim sucks. Use naim. It runs in a shell, and it's the coolest aim client ever.
Thats cool Joey, keep it up.
People do this all the time, I would too. Joey didn't steal anything the code is avaible to download and use, which he did, which is what people do all the time: use other people's codes, ie Apache, Gaim, Linux and etc.
So stop picking on Joe its no big deal.
I hope you resolve the issues on your server, good luck.
