Title: Speakers..
Post by: Krazed on September 07, 2005, 08:15:03 PM
My speakers are blown, and they suck in the first place. So, I'm looking for a set of speakers with a sub, because I'm tired of factory sound, with no sub.. That just.. sucks.

I'm not looking to spend over $30, and these are what I've been looking at the most.

Suggestions? Anyone have(had?) a KenMates setup? How was it?

The comments for the product are nothing but great news.

Can your audio card support a 5.1 sound system? (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16836131001)

It's an Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM)

Not sure what it supports, to be honest.

I'm not really looking for a 5.1 setup, though.

I ordered this desk (http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?prodCatType=2&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&productId=101020), it should be here tommorow. It's perfect for a 2.1 system w/ sub though.

sorry i didn't see this.. Are you sure $30 is the max you want to spend? I saw some good $50 sound systems, but your card can't support them.. I don't think your card can support 5.1 either, from what I read. But maybe my google search blew up in my face.
