Hah, so true.
rofl.. for once, good find
HAH! Finally one I understand. Good job!
For the record, hunters start wearing cloth and leather, and at level 40, gain the ability to wear mail.
They start wearing Leather... Hunters who wear cloth are complete nubs. :)
Unless like, blue cloth drops at 39 and it beats their leather by a few points. I'm saying they can wear it, not that they have to.
QuoteHunters who wear cloth are complete nubs.
Unless its better than the leather they have.

... In which case they'd be a nub. Think a little, Joe. :P
Say they have some green leather. Its got a.. strength bonus or some crap. Then, hey, a blue robe drops or something, which has a bigger strength bonus, or some other kind of bonus. I wouldn't be so stuck up about wearing leather that I would refuse the better equipment.

Don't be stupid. Unless they're a nub, the statistic bonuses on their leather gear will ALWAYS be better than ANYTHING that drops on cloth. It's retarded to think that hunters wearing cloth can be justified. Hunters that wear cloth are nubs.
Say their being rushed through SM at 20 and some blue equipment drops of a boss and has a level requirement of.. 17? Probably not going to happen, but my point remains. Hunters CAN wear cloth.
This needs to be split into the off-topic discussion...
Joe: It WON'T happen. Ever. You can't even enter the scarlet monestary at level 20, let alone roll and wear loot that has a level requirement 20 above yours.
http://thottbot.com/?f=n&pl=on&zones=90 That's all of the "Phat Loot" for Scarlet Monestary.
My point remains as well. Any hunter wearing cloth is a complete and total nub. At the least, their gear is nub.
You can enter the Scarlet Monastery at level 22, however, and don't say you can't, because I did it. =)
EDIT -
By the way, that was a nice link. Alcholic Rat (http://thottbot.com/?n=18601)
Still, hunters CAN wear cloth. Alright, thought of a reason.
They can run through northshire onehitting defias thugs while wearing a dress. I did that on my warlock once.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH MYYYY GOOOD YOU THICK HEADED NUB!
If indeed a Hunter is seen wearing cloth, it is likely their gear sucks, qualifying them among the ranks of NOOBS.
And you said level 20, not level 22.
Alright, screw high levels then.
Someone makes a hunter, goes and kills some kobolds, and frayed gloves drop. They dont have leather gloves yet, so they stick them on, and their AC increases.
Weather or not its practical, hunters CAN wear cloth!
Should they be killing Kobolds seriously (in Northshire Abby), they are nubs. Owned! :P

You're not getting the point Sidoh's getting at, he's saying if the cloth is better then their leather armor, that person is a newb. In other words:
IF THE CLOTH IS BETTER THEN THEIR LEATHER, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG.
I still enjoy GW. :)

Yep.
I did too, for the twenty minutes I tried it. :)
I never killed kobolds seriously in Northshire, except under level 5. Still, a favorite pastime is owning defias thugs (not kobolds, lamer) with AoE while wearing a dress.
Exactly. If you are, you're automatically a nub.
Stop arguing this USELESS point.
Owning defias thugs is fun. (http://www.javaop.com/~joe/screenshots/EFDefiasAoE.jpg)
There is an island surronded by ice over by gnomer that has like 10 wolves on it, aoeing them is always fun, and they give you stuff to level your cooking. :)
I don't have AoE. ._.
I just SW:P everything. :)
What's AoE, and SW:P? I don't play Whoa!
AoE is in any kind of MMO/RPG normally, stands for Area of Effect, SW, I have no clue.
Area of Effect. SW: P is ShadowWord: Pain, a preist curse. PW: S, on the other hand, is PowerWord: Sheild, making you immune to all attacks for 30 seconds, or until the sheild breaks.
Go Mage remove curse! :)
Sh, I'll be pwnin' you all with Healing Hands + Cyclone Axe.
Pfft, I'll be running with my frost, blink, swiftness potion.
