You're supposed to give this to someone who you think will buy it afterwords, because then you get a free month.

If anyone plays WoW for 10 days, they'll buy it. Either that or they're really stuck up. Either way, I don't really care if they buy it or not.

Guest passes suck. My account was formed from one, and you can't do anything! No general chat, no trading, no AH, no yelling and no mail. You have to get others to advertise for you for groups. :-\

All guests passes are good for is giving an extra 7 free days to a friend. :)
