I finally got X to run! Now can somone please link me to the packages I need to download for GNOME? I'm using Slackware Linux 10.1

Install Slapt-Get (http://www.google.com/search?q=slapt-get), and install Gnome.

Or check out www.linuxpackages.org and search for Gnome.  But Newby's way is better. 

And by the way, use better topic titles.
