Title: great book about WWII:
Post by: deadly7 on October 31, 2005, 09:31:28 PM
"The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A history of Nazi Germany"
by William L. Shirer

I have to say, this book is amazing. I'm on page 30 or so (just got the book and have had to study for finals) but I have loved it.  The author puts it all together very nicely, and I would recommend this to anybody that wants to not only learn about Hitler's past (for instance, his last name used to be Schiklgruber [sp?]) and then how he accomplsihed what he did.

World War III? Hm. The best book on this so far is probably like "George Bush, an Autobiography"
