Yes, my iMac, cave, is back in comission. I cleared off my desk in boredom and it was too empty. Hm, lets fill it up!
System specs:
400MHz PowerPC Processor
128MB RAM
MacOS 9.1 + MacOS 10.0.3
I plan to use this to screw around, basically. PowerPC is great for graphics rendering, so I might even attempt to install WoW on it (after I pirate a MacOS X upgrade, of course). It has a keyboard and a mouse, but I'll probably control it via VNC most of the time because I'm bored off my rear, plus the side of the desk hes on is lower than JoeMomma's side (see pictures, its made that way).
Some things I want to do right away are
- Upgrade MacOS X to latest version
- Install X11
- Install bash (it comes with tsch)
- Install Java
- Install JavaOp
Hi from cave. Man, MSIE for Mac is UUGGLLYY!!~.
Plus my scroll wheel doesn't work.
My internet configured itself nicely =).
Booting into MacOS X.
EDIT -
I'm in MacOS X now. Even though Aqua is sexy, MSIE is not. Need to install firefox grows.
EDIT -
[localhost:~] joe% ssh joex86.no-ip.org
Secure connection to joex86.no-ip.org refused.

get Safari instead
MSIE has been and always will be ugly on Mac :P
Only on Mac?! Its ugly universally.
But good idea though, I'll look into Safari. Is that compatable with the X11 windowing system? I'll probably use GNOME instead of Aqua.
So much for not needing to restart after everything. I just installed Microsoft IntelliPoint (I really miss my scroll wheel, ok?!) and I need to restart.
it's not that bad on windows. especially since WindowBlinds skins it.
i dont really know much about Safari cept that it's better than Firefox and it;s better suited for Mac :P
Forget CrackOS. Installing Ubuntu.
Safari uses the Gecko rendering engine, it's the same thing. iirc Mozilla makes a browser JUST for mac. Check it out on mozilla.org
