Yeah! I've got this 16MB MP3 player / watch (from the company that brought you the USB coffee warmer), and I want to put Jesus music on it for in study hall. Of course, Jesus music is high quality, and thus I can't fit too much. =(
Please help.
Convert to wave. Convert back to mp3.
EDIT -- Don't even need to do that!

That's cool. Does lame have a windows executable? =p
16MB? Jesus, you plan on sticking music on that thing? You'd be better off bringing a CD player.
EDIT -- Removed comment about my penis, seeing as how it was worded to make it seem like I had a small penis. I guess I should think clever slogans through.

I'm pretty sure it does, although I'm hesitant to tell you to google "lame windows" for obvious reasons. :P

16MB? Jesus Christ, that couldn't hold my dick.
That's only because it doesn't protrude enough to dangle and touch the bottom. It'd be like trying to fill a thimble with your dick -- we're just trying to fill too much with too little.

And I guess I'm too late. Well, shit.

owned@newby.
Yeah, Lame could definitely do the job well. I don't know or care if it has a Windows version, check Google.
dBpowerAMP.
iago, see @ MyndFyre's comment about "lame windows"
Thanks @ MM! =)
I used winlame. It worked nice. I just used lame now... I can fit about 18 songs on my shitty 64 mb mp3 player.
Haha, I put dBPowerAmp on the builds for my computer lab at school.

So on 16, you might get 4. Unless you encode them at like, 16kbps or something, so they only actually have like 4 tones. :)
I ripped an entire Ludacris album to about 14MB. The loss of quality was noticable, but it wasn't horrible.

I've gone as low a 96 kbps without realizing much of a difference, any lower sounds like poopie :P

Yeah, but in order for quality loss to matter much you need to try it with actual music.

LOL.
I love your personal text, "banned".
Anyhow, I've got 8 Jesus songs (plus Simple Plan - Untitled), encoded at 96kbps.
EDIT -
Untitled pushed it over the edge a tiny bit. I've got 944kb left! Mad skills.
