Sort of a report of my AudioScrobbler post, but last.fm (http://www.last.fm) is a neat little service that lists music you listen to. It also lists charts of music you've listened to, and eventually can list recommendations and other people who have similar tastes. It's pretty neat.
I'm newbyx86 (http://www.last.fm/user/newbyx86/), and the only reason I'm bringing this up is because I finally got the xmms plugin to work!

I created one too, but it's not going to be very accurate for a while.
Today, I just put it on "The Postal Service" and let it play. I've been listening to music on my iPod. :)
I seen some people with sigs about this. Seems neat enough when I get home I make one.
Very fecking cool:

That's neat!
Actually, I don't think that would be a hard project to develop, all things considered. I'm sure that some of the other features that they have take more research/planning (like the "automatic buddy lists"), but those types of things would be asy to do).
I'm still very impressed by the whole system, it's neat!
I don't think my list will ever be accurate, though. I always leave WinAmp playing when I go to sleep/school, so it plays some music I don't like that much (unless I leave it on Exodus or something like that, since Newby gave my their discography... 9:00:00 or so of music).

That is pretty cool, I never noticed that before.

I was playing around with the options, and the list of charts you can generate is amazing. :)
