Joe wants to play. I have no problem with it.
Now, the important part:
We have 9 players, which is too many to keep track of. However, different players have a different level of real-life commitments, a different level of free time, and a different level of interest. The plan is to have games when it's convenient to me (good ol' GM'ing), and whoever can show up will. I'll try to announce them a day or two ahead of time.
Hopefully this'll work out. I really don't want 9 players at a time :)
Make Joe unable to get good.
I originally had this character in mind..
Name: Joe
Gender: Male
Alignment: Good
Lawful: Neutral
Class: Shadow Preist (heals friends, but also causes magical damage)
Race: Elf (Well DUH)
Enjoys levitating friends into trees for no aparent reason.
Would like to adventure for the experience, and perhas money, but not the fame.
Young (think mid-thirtys).
Neither glutton nor toothpick.
In shape.
Social.
Non-religious.
Doesn't give to charity (too busy doing fun stuff like lighting his hair on fire, causing no damage!)
Doesn't get drunk.
Doesn't pick barfights.
But after discussing it with iago, I've decided to change my race to a leprechaun-gnome, so now I'm short (Leprechaun), even shorter (Gnome), intelligent (Gnome), evasive (Gnome), and lucky (Leprechaun).
Put this in the thread with the rest of them, please :P
Good we need a healer. I am good on weekends.
I'm good almost every day, any time (Except school)
Joe, that character sounds like someone I'd TK after about 2 minutes. You may not want to have a character that would annoy the whole party.
I'm hoping he's joking about most of it. Because there's no room in this game for players that distract others or players that others are annoyed with.
You mean the levitation part? Pssh, thats when I'm not fighting a war (or whatever this is called). I'm not going to go levitating yago and sticking him in the tree =p
As for the hair thing, see above @ not in war comment.
You mean "on a mission, quest, adventure, campaign, etc"
Yeah. I was just trying to get the personality across that hes a comical person, when seriousness isn't needed.
