How do I go about downloading the whole forum so I can look at the topics I never look at while it's down :) ?

When you figure it out, send it to me.
Gain root access to Darkside and then just go into /forums and download everything. ;)

That wouldn't do anything; all the data is stored in databases.

wget http://www.x86labs.org/forum/ and ask for sql export.
Of course, it would kill his machine/bandwith.

That would defeat the purpose of 'doing it yourself!' :)
Also, the /forum directory is locked.

wget -r would do it. And no, it wouldn't kill my machine. Bandwidth, perhaps :P

It gives you database password in plaintext, and then you can hax iago's box through some MySQL exploit and get a backup.

You wouldn't need a MySQL exploit to do that... just an account on the box running the MySQL server.
Mark doesn't know what hes talking about, silly kid. <3.
I bet you I can kill iagos bandwidth. Watch this... *** Joe has logged off ***

Yeah, but it's more fun if you exploit MySQL!

Downtime is half over. It's in a middle state now while we run cables. Expect another interruption within an hour.

Ugh, maybe I won't have to go emo, its only an hour... on second thought, afk forever.
I didn't feel like finishing. So there'll still be a little downtime. And currently, Pie is down. He'll be back up whenever I feel like it :)
/me injects himself into the IAGO's COMPUTERS table in darkside's SQL database (darkside is in there too, its recursive.. weird) and sets variable "TURNED ON" in Pie's record to TRUE.
We want our pie back!
MMMM, Pie.
Pie is back, and darkside's move is complete. I took some pictures of my new setup, but my camera=>usb cord hasn't resurfaced yet. When it does, you'll see my new bedroom.
I may have one more downtime later this week while I move around the rest of my gear (router, etc.), but that won't be for at least a few days. My step-sister is staying in the computer room for 3 days.

There's only 2 computers in there. And I've spent many months in rooms with computers, they aren't very noisy.
JoeMomma asia and lumberjack are all in my bedroom. Asia is pretty loud (its right next to my bed), but its usually not on at night. JoeMomma is pretty quiet, and its always on. Lumberjack is hardly ever on.

deepthought is half way accross my house, I never have to listen to it. It's moderately noisy, but everyone in my family is accustomed to it so it doesn't matter much.
Wow... reading "deepthought as "deepthroat" really changes the meaning of that second sentence.
