I'll be in Arizona all next week, so good luck without me. ;)

Yeah, it went well.  My goal was to teach you guy the rules, and that worked out.

I definitely don't want to do another game involving a map, though.  From now on, it'll be easy -to-describe places

Too bad Newby's computer exploded. :)

That was awesome. We were sitting here, and Towelie says "Oh, look, smoke!" and I see a fire next to my fan!

So I'll be bringing it over to my neighbor's house in hopes that compressed air on the PSU will do good to it (my dad thinks it is dust, too) and if that doesn't work, 5 year warranty!

Here is a summary of the loot we received:

400 silver pieces
350 copper pieces
Light Pink Rhonodchryosite set in copper worth 25sp
Emerald Green Chryosphase set in copper worth 100sp
Brown Tiger Eye set in copper worth 12sp
Moss Agate set in iron worth 25sp

--

I think we should continue the map part, that added to the fun I think getting to visualize what we were doing.

In a lot of situations, maps aren't needed.  We'll see, though :)

We should go with a different map. :)

It's a continuous thing.

Although it's continuous, that game should be considered as a tutorial, learning how to play.

Incidentally, if anybody wants to change their skills/spells now, talk to me.  Now that you understand the game a little, you might feel differently about what you chose.

I'm upset that Newby won't be around for the remainder of the break :(

We need a Melee guy... not having one is going to be a huge issue.. any ideas? :-/

AI nearly completely defeats the purpose of a table-top RPG.

It's called an NPC.  I could do that, but I prefer not to.

I think NPC's should be controlled by the GM, not an AI--even if the GM created the AI. ;)

Think mercinary, like in NWN.

I should have worded it: the roll that AI's fill in computer games is the roll that NPC's would fill in real games.
