Use alexa and check traffic ratings. Yahoo = #1 iirc. :P
Alexa is basically spyware, so maybe Yahoo is the #1 for stupid people :P
I remember seeing a report on most visited websites a while ago, I'm pretty sure Yahoo was first. Myspace was 4th, and Google was behind it, maybe 5th. Imagine that, a day when Myspace>Google at visits... almost makes you wanna cut yourself.... I think CNN and MSN were up between 4th and 1st.

Visits probably only considers the first page hit.
Besides, you can get done what you need to on google rather quickly, you don't have to spend much time "twiddle dicking" (see my thread on rednecks) with things.
And again, I'd question the reliablity of your source. They're probably taken from things like Alexa, which is pretty much spyware like iago said. Computer-literate people aren't going to be included in the results.

I can safely say after viewing Alexa's comparison in traffic ratings for the last 4 months between Google and MySpace (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?&range=6m&size=medium&y=r&url=www.myspace.com#top), Google comes out ahead massively, and that survey was most likely wrong.

I'll assume that every idiot that views MySpace has Alexa (I would not doubt it at all) whilst 5/6th of the visitors who visit Google have it.
EDIT -- Hell, at no point in time has MySpace topped Google in traffic.
