Alright, I was playing WoW, and suddenly my ping shot up to 1800ms. At first I just thought to myself "peice of shit server" since it was update day today and I figured that just tried to fix something that already worked, this sadly wasn't the case, however.
I checked IRC, lcirc.net I pinged fine. Japsclan however was going off the roof, same ping as WoW. My browser is also going slow. So I'm lead to beleive something's up with my connection. I've reset my modem, removed my router, tried the little "Repair connetion" option. Nothing. Any help would be more then appreciated. :)
Complain to your ISP, and always say that if its not fixed you're going to cancel your service with them and go to their compitition. Works every time!
With my ISP, if I call while my connection is down or if I have recorded packet loss >15% over a period of an hour, my service is free for the month :) (and yes, I have to ask for it every time or threaten to cancel service, such a small price to pay to save $50)

What ISP?
Well, it finally got back to normal speed, it apparently (from the test I ran) was going at average dialup speed. So I had to let it sit for about an hour.

My router seems to destroy outgoing UDP packets when I play a game of Starcraft with > 2 people in the game. :)
This is the second time (that I know of) that it's happened to me. The first time it wasn't as long, however.
Rarely, it gets to the point where I can't even connect, it's just off completely. :-\
