Title: Dad's car
Post by: iago on January 26, 2006, 10:36:44 AM
My dad has a 1964 Beaumont.  It's a really nice car, actually.  He's trying to sell it because he wants to try a boat, so here are the pictures he took of it:
http://www.javaop.com/~iago/ospap/show_category.php?category_id=28

Of course, it can be summarized with, simply:

Challenge!  For a prize, can you determine the license plate number?  Or any digit from it?  I've left bits and pieces of it exposed, so it might just be possible :)

How much is he selling it for?
No clue.  I don't think he's officially listed it anywhere, he's just keeping his ears out.

Ask him how much he would want idealy for it, depending on the cost, I might know some one who's wanting one of them.

It seems like an awful lot of trouble to sell to somebody who's that far away, but I'll talk to him and see.

No, iago just lives near the 7th biggest city, you need to be <= 6 to have REAL roofs. ^_^

I live IN Winnipeg.

But what's wrong with our roof, exactly?  It looks perfectly normal to me, but I'm just a small town boy.

The way the roof hangs over is just weird looking. I mean, that's how you draw a house when you're a little kid...I didn't know people actually had roofs like that.

Which picture in particular are you referring to?  I don't really understand what's odd, so I'd like to see it :)

Haha, I was looking for pictures of HIS roof, not the neighbours, no wonder I couldn't find a good one!

Yeah, that's pretty normal for roofs (rooves?) here.  The overhang keeps the rain from running down the side of the house, I'm guessing.  I didn't know that foreign houses didn't do that, where do you stand when it's raining and you need to wait outside? :)

Almost all of the houses here do that, too. They're just kind of small, rectangular shaped houses. That's how kids always draw houses. :)
