Title: Stealth sharks may patrol the world's seas (using mind control?!!)

Several groups around the world have gained approval to develop implants that can monitor and control the behavior of a wide range of animals.

This is kinda scary, read how thier controlling the sharks.

Mind-control is the wrong word.

While I do see a few things wrong with this, it does seem like a good idea for the "greater good."  It would increase our understanding of neural systems pretty nicely.

Read the article. They're literally controlling sharks by controlling thier brain functions.

Doubt it'll work. We haven't even completely figured out how our own brains work.

Generally, mind control constitutes psychokinesis.  This is control of motor functions through means of electronic pulses.
