Yeah. It made me sad.
The confusing part is that this was filmed in UK, which has the backwards-drive cars. The backward car (right-hand-side driver) is seen in the scene with Marge and Maggie. However, Homer's car is normal (North American) style. They probably did that because the last scene (where he gets out of his car and Bart goes over it) wouldn't work with a right-hand-drive car. But it still looks a little weird :)
