QuoteThere is a small bottle containing a red fluid on a shelf in Sheffield University's microbiology laboratory. The liquid looks cloudy and uninteresting. Yet, if one group of scientists is correct, the phial contains the first samples of extraterrestrial life isolated by researchers.
If this is true, this could be HUGE news!
Of course, the idea that it's actually from off-earth is pretty unlikely. But it's not impossible.
That's really interesting. But wouldn't you think that if it was that big of a deal it would of been on the news a few years ago, like in 2001 when the "comit" hit?
It wasn't known what it was caused by at the time. It's still not known conclusively, which is why it's not big news. Yet :P
Lol, I wonder if it will become big news. It would be VERY interesting if the could prove that the stuff was or is living.
And if that happens I bet the space exploration budget would increase tremendously.
Weird! I don't really think it's extraterrestrial organisms, but even when that is ruled out, it's still a really weird happening.
OMG!
