Title: Patented Thoughts!
Post by: deadly7 on March 19, 2006, 10:42:56 PM

Allow me to be the first to patent these following things:
-My thoughts involving flying automobiles.
-My thoughts involving faster computer parts.
-My thoughts involving alphabet; any alphabet.

Seriously, America sucks at life for being so goddamn retarded.

Haha, that is pretty stupid.

What was the ruling before?  You could only patent something if it was ready for production?  To me, that makes tons more sense than allowing someone to patent an "idea."  What if they die or never get around to doing it?  It hinders the progress of that device.

This is so seriously stupid, lmao.

Doesn't this apply in the same sense as intellectual property and copyright?

QuoteA corporation has patented that fact, and demands a royalty for its use. Anyone who makes the fact public and encourages doctors to test for the condition and treat it can be sued for royalty fees. Any doctor who reads a patient's test results and even thinks of vitamin deficiency infringes the patent. A federal circuit court held that mere thinking violates the patent.

(from the article)
I don't think so.

I want to create a nation wide competency test that is administered by a private agency (so it isnt bias) with me as head of the company.  From there I shall recommend which of the failures die.

ANYWHO, people need to get a new hobby other tha spending hella money suing crap about other crap.
There is a dude in my city (Las Cruces, translated to the crosses as per the stories) who is suing the city to change the logo.  Our logo has 3 crosses because that's how the city was named; someone saw 3 crosses from dead guys here & named it.
If I could only remember to write the guy's name down & then Yahoo People his address, maybe go egg his joint sometime.
