I find this very funny. I mean come on? Didnt Microsoft steal from apple in the frist place?
What did Microsoft steal from Apple?
They stole Steve Jobs GUI. "Which they stole from Xero in the frist place but that is beside the point."
Bill Gates stole Apples GUI and started making his own OS and shipping it to japan. Well thats what I saw in Priates of Silcon valley.
Microsoft has constantly followed in Apple's shadow in terms of usability and such. I don't think Windows has ever had a UI feature that Apple didn't already have. Microsoft just did a better job of other stuff, including marketing.
I wouldn't call anything stolen, though.

Taking without consent is stealing. I dount that Billy Gate$ asked Steve jobs if he could have his UI features.
I don't think you can steal ideas, though. At least, not in the way that has been done.

And so the authors of KDE and Gnome stole from Microsoft *and* Apple when they created a window interface that had the same kinds of GUI widgets?
And Microsoft stole from the creators of WordPerfect? And from Lotus when they made Excel? And from Oracle when they made SQL Server and Access? And Lavasoft when they bought Gator's Anti-Spyware?
