Furious asks, Joe delivers.
I actually started playing with my friend 2 days ago.
But we're playing Open characters. We did "/players 8" so we get lottts of experience. We easily got to level 25 before finishing act 2, and our experience is still going up fast. It's pretty sweet :)

I didn't "ask" I just figured it would help you get the forum up with some support.

I could get level 99 without even starting the game... Open B.Net is terrible ;P

I can beat any of the games I play locally (Deus Ex, Black and White, Neverwinte Nights, Baldur's Gate, etc.) without starting the game. But if I do that, I wouldn't have any fun with them. I'm playing to have fun, not to get to level 99.
Yes you do... Sorc with BO/WW/Fanta/Vigor == fun :D
99 is where the fun begins. When you're decked out in your class set and can dominate hell baal on your own, what are you supposed to do? Duel and kick the asses of others.

Fun for a few minutes, perhaps, but the fun in Diablo II is more the journey than the destination. At least, it is in my opinion.

Dueling is stupid in open, obviously. Unless you play a game of, "who hacks the best character?" which could be amusing...

My preferred method of playing D2 online. ;)
Well, open dueling is still skill, but it's more of "Who can get the first shot in?" skill. ^_^
Yeah, the characters have level 99 for each of their skills, and an inventory full of +7 to all skills, +something to each skill tree, +mana, +mana regen, +health, +cast rate. Get hit by a single fireball and you're done.
I am getting on right now :)!

What's so sad about it? Fucking fucker.
Lolz.
You even said if I found you cdkeys you might plae. Die.
Anyways.. A month back on ladder has me @ level 94, level 90 and some pretty decent gear. Hooked on it once again.
I'm going to allow this random bump, just to add that WoW > D2.

If WoW and D2 were designed at the exact same time, with the exact same graphics, depth.. Etc, I believe D2 would be the more popular. I mean look, after nearly a decade it still is one of the most popular games on the internet. Sure, WoW launched in popularity crazily, but a lot of that credit comes from the reputation that diablo, warcrafts, and starcraft ( mostly the former ) had to offer.
If anyone plays USEast softcore ladder, I'll chaos them and grush them. They will get to lvl 80 in like 30-120 mins. I won't charge anything.
I personally play USWest softcore non-ladder, and hardcore ladder, but when reset hits (current speculation is this August) I will be starting on softcore ladder to get some ladder only items for my non ladder chars.
Anyone still play? I started playing again, Twampa@USEast. If you play, post here and/or w/* me. :)
