I looked back at an old program I wrote. In 2001 I submitted it to pscode.com, and it's still there (http://www.pscode.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=161&lngWId=6#zip). Feel free to download the source from there if you want to see it, it's not the greatest code ever, though. It's Perl.
Here's it running:
http://www.javaop.com/~iago/poll/poll.pl
The admin password is "iago", if you want to play around.

Ron, you rule. My first program was a CD-Key generator for Counter-Strike. lol.

I just noticed I screwed up a permission. It looks better now.
-
You can also vote as many times as you want. ;)
-
Unless I screwed something up, like probably permissions, it should stop you based on your ip.
But it's not, so oh well :P
-
LOL. I love the sample question.
-
I voted Women three times ;) It's just that much fun!
I really like this program, iago! <3
-
I voted Women 80-odd times :P
-
I voted a couple 200 times, and got women to 92%. Sorry for the lame bandwith attack. D:

Well, the sample question WAS "What's your favorite movie?" with a few '01 movies listed. But Hitmen fixed that :)

Did you read this? hmm.. wouldnt you agree that tagging IP is unreliable?
different IP classes may provide a problem, if you tag only the first two subnets on certain IPs, only 1 person from that whole ISP will be allowed to vote...
do you know of a better solution?
- cookies wont work, they can just clear it and vote again...
If so, I was wondering if you gave thought to his question?

Yeah, but no. More later, I'm busy :P

*looks at timestamp*
Do I even want to know why you were busy at that time?

I was at my friend's playing Diablo 2. I forgot why I checked the forum, he went to the bathroom or something.
Anyways, no, that's not the problem. Checking the IP means that somebody with a dynamic IP can vote twice, and multiple people on the same network can't. That's what he was talking about.

I daresay you screwed something up. I just voted for women and myself.

Really? I hadn't noticed. Especially because somebody else said so, and I confirmed it.

Gasp?! You said you didn't play games Mr. Liar!
-
No, I don't play many games, and I don't play games often.
