Quote[MTV] has teamed up with Microsoft to launch a digital music retailer which, the pair hope, will be the first serious rival to Apple's all-powerful iTunes.
The MTV store, called Urge, starts tomorrow and comes integrated into the new version of Microsoft's Windows Media Player.
That's gonna murder the iTunes music store. iTunes as a whole is bloated.
Too bad the lack of support for iPods is also gonna prevent this from being useful.
Woah, people buy music? O_o
Sadly, yes. People buy music in online music stores.
It's a terrible scambusiness, but people are lazy.
Haha, yeah. What gets me are the companies who reward "<x> free iTunes when you make your purchase!"
...
A kid in my school bought plane tickets to Spain for July. On the brochure, it said "here is your code for 10 free iTunes!" He was like "DAMN! That made the $1,400 I paid for this trip so worth it! TEN FREE ITUNES!!!!"
It makes people feel happy that they supported some emo band so that they can keep on rocking. \m/!
