@Newby: All of those are blocked at my school, along with kproxy.

www.network-tools.com

I'm assuming you know how to convert {8, 8, 8, 8} IP's to {8, 8, 16} IP's. For example, iago is currently located at 142.161.166.211. You'd convert 166 to hex and 211 to hex (A6 and D3) and then convert 0xA6D3 to decimal (42707) resulting in 142.161.42707.

You shouldn't screw around with school computers.  They restrict you, deal with it.  If you screw around and get caught (which is very easy), you can be suspended, or expelled, or just make enemies on your school faculty.  Any of those is enough to ruin your life, and isn't worth the little bit of fun you get.

They probably got automatically blocked because of people swearing.  The only way to prevent that is to censor swearwords.

Our administratr has given the job to the teachers to make sure nobody breaks rules in their individual classes (which was a smart move). However, our programming teacher knows that were not stupid enough to kill anything and allows us to break rules when convinent, to a level. That's why being a Comp Sci nerd is great!

The administrator is stupid.  Expecting people to uphold policies will only lead to computers being infested with spyware, viruses, and inappropriate software.

Just like if the US government was to legalize weed, half the people would stop because it isn't cool anymore.

I'm friends with the network admin, he can unblock any website within reason (Doesn't violate major rules like porn, warez, etc).  :)

Too late.

QuoteDENVER - Residents of the Mile High City have voted to legalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana for adults. Authorities, though, said state possession laws will be applied instead.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting early Wednesday, 54 percent, or 56,001 voters, cast ballots for the ordinance, while 46 percent, or 48,632 voters, voted against it.

Under the measure, residents over 21 years old could possess up to an ounce of marijuana.
