Nothing? They land on them all the time. I think you have to touch two to get shocked.

No, if they have both feet on, they won't get shocked. The way I learned it is, electricity finds the shortest path to go through. Since you have both hands/feet/talons/pedophiles on the power line, it bypasses you because it would be taking a longer route or something. I might be wrong though, that's 6th grade Earth/Space Science  :).

I meant what if they weigh the lines down ALOT.

...as I was taught, the birds dont get shocked because their feet skin is really thick & acts like rubber that it doesnt conduct.  I think if a person were to touch...we'd die

As long as they don't touch something to allow the electricity to flow into (ie another power line or the ground), they're uneffected.  A human could hang by the power line without any sort of problem as long as they don't touch anything else.

hmmmmmm, sounds like that might be fun to do.

wouldnt the power flow THROUGH you, though, if you grabbed the wire w/2 hands?

No.  As Duece already explained, electricity flows in such a fashion that it travels the shortest distance possible.  If presented with two paths, electrons will flow through the shorter of the two.
