Title: Driver's License, o gawd.
Post by: TeHFoOoL on June 27, 2006, 03:12:52 PM
I go take it in like two hours. :X

I havn't been driving recently either, so I'm guessing there's like a 50/50 chance I get through this with a pass.

Okay, so who here failed (how many times & why) and passed their tests?

I went to get my permit today.

1. I don't have my instructors signature, nor will I see him until September 1st.
2. My birth certificate is a photocopy and no originals still exist, so we need to get a new one from a hospital in Washington.
3. My certified driver's education course begins in 65 days, opposed to the maximum of 60 days.

So, I don't have it.

@Ergot: LOL.

The only test I had to take was for my permit.  IIRC it was a 30 question test; I missed one, and IIRC you can miss six.

I did behind-the-wheel with my school, and with that paper from my driver's ed teacher, I didn't have to take a driving or written test at the MVD.

When I turned 21, I got a new license and did not require a test.

The reason I got a new license at 21 is Arizona's license design.  Below 21, your license is long vertically, has the words "UNDER 21 UNTIL" in big red letters, and is Class G (actually I think it's only Class G until you're 18, but since I had the old style horizontal one I kept the class G until I turned 21).  When I turned 21, I got the long-horizontally license that no longer says "UNDER 21 UNTIL" ;-)

It's 100% true.  The guy could pretty much only pronounce "a", "s", and something that was a bastard child of "t", "d", and "c".

Same situation for me, it was nice wasn't it. :P
