Title: PSP 2.5/2.6 Kernel Access
Post by: rabbit on June 27, 2006, 09:13:22 PM
New exploit found.  2.5/2.6 PSP's can now get into the system kernel, which means homebrew galore.  A lot of people think it's attack against the UP mod chip.  Wewt.

It's not security.  It's a good thing.

In fact, if I could get giant radioactive yodling gorillas to shout it from the rooftops, I totally would.

Bumpage.

There is a testable 2.5/2.6 -> 1.5 downgrader, but it's more than a 50% chance of bricking, so I'm going to wait for a stable release, but I am close to getting the equivolent of my old PSP back ^^
