My mother threw my retainers away and compacted them.. Now they are broken and I have to get them fixed. Thank God I am heading up to Kansas City tomorrow to visit friends, if I weren't I'd have to find an Orthodontist at my new house.

Uhh.. Retainers are nasty. They get gross really fast. I cleaned mine everytime I took it out of my mouth.

So yeah, it is easier for me.
Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Minus the compactor. I searched a bag of trash, and there they were... all covered in bananna parts and coffee granuals. Eww. I put them through a severe Listerene bath before puttin' em back in. Eww.
Yeah.... I have to wait two weeks to get my lower retainer back, but the top one they were able to fix then. So that means I have to drive up to Kansas City one more time to get them.. *sigh*

Really? My teeth haven't changed at all. I mean, one has moved slitly, but the orthodontist said he could fix that with a spring, so no worries there. Other than that my teeth are exactly (or close to it) the same. I mean, when I get it back it will be a tight fight, but it will eventually loosen up.
