Hi!
I'm looking to buy a new video card, I live in Canada, and I'm wondering what one to buy. I have a Dell, Intel Celeron D 2.7 Ghz, 512 MB DDR Ram. I had called Dell this morning to ask if my computer would support PCI-Express, He told me that the mother board only had room for a PCI.
So, that makes it even more difficult. Does anybody know a Canadian site (Or American that ships to Canada) where I can get a good, in-expensive PCI Video Card?
The only things that I'm probably going to use it for are WoW and Battlefield 2. The Intel Integrated VC that I have now seems to be fine with WoW, but I would like the new one to support Battlefield 2.
Thanks.
Using money for a video card in a PCI slot is a waste.
That's what I thought. I'm just going to go and get a new MotherBoard.

deadly doesn't know what he's talking about, as usual.
Actually, he does. ;D
Buying a Video Card for a PCI slot would be lame. Seeing as the PCI slots were used like...10 years ago.
I'm first going to get this, then a new video card: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2161158&CatId=2018
I may need some help setting it up...I'll also need to get a new case.
Do you people think I can pull it off? Take parts from my Dell and use them in my new case?
MGP wtf?
I wouldn't buy Socket 939 anymore, but that's me.
@Joe: You're an idiot. Shut up.
I don't really care UNLESS somebody can find me an AM2 with an AMD 64 3200 included for the same price. I won't be needing to upgrade.
Question: why are you so hell-bent on having a 3200+?
I'm pretty sure Newegg delivers to Canada.

Not the same price, but worth it in the end.
Tigerdirect ftw.
Newegg does not deliver to Canada.
Now I'm thinking this would be a better buy:
Motherboard: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2219334&CatId=2320
Processor: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2207188&CatId=2324
I hope you don't want to run SLI any time in your life. And I wouldn't buy that motherboard regardless of SLI compatability or not.
Quote from: BerzerkerHow about we go with a company that's a little more known.

Quote from: LiquidYeah, definetly go with something that is known to be good boards. Don't go no-name brand cheap.
I was told that it was good. :)

I looked them both up there, and I found two better prices for the motherboard, but they only shipped to the US.
I also looked up the processor and couldn't find anything better.
