When I got iago's CD's, I was surprised to see some poerty acompanying it.
QuoteHere is the Linux
I hope you like it a lot
Linux is the best!
Slackware is da bomb
Trust me, it is the best one
This is a haiku
Encore!
I'm such a poet!! :D
Do any of those lines rhyme? I think haiku's are supposed to rhyme.
No sir, they are not supposed to rhyme. :P
No, it's just the 5-7-5 syllable pattern.
Newby and Ergook.. err.. Ergot are correct.
Your haiku's suck ass btw.
Here's mine!
QuoteSlackware is the best.
It is the greatest distro
Nothing can top it
Ron sucks at haiku
He uses fake words like 'da'
and he's dumb and fat ;[
(note, the face doesn't count and I <3 Ron anyways)
Newby sucks at life
We all know Quik's the greatest
He can even rhyme
This is rhyming haikus
Quik roxxorz your boxxorz tooz
Just don't call him jooz
pshh I don't know =/
Quik, that last Haiku made me wonder if you're a Japanese Poet or a Jewish Battle-rapper.
PS: Linux inspired me to learn Coffee. Erm, Java.
public class Main {
public static void main(String[] args) {
System.out.println("Hello World!");
}
}

ERROR.
Stop harassing me
You stupid jewish nazi
Go to hell and die
I wrote a haiku in 7th grade once.
It was awesome!
QuoteForty Caliber
Blows my brains onto the wall
Takes my life away
public void blankLine
{
System.out.println();
int i = 3;
int j = 4;
i = i * 7;
return i + j;
}
I should write all my code in haiku, that would suck so much ass
btw, it's read as:
public void blank line
system dot out dot print line
int i equals 3
int j equals 4
i equals i times 7
return i plus j
so cool! :D
int main(char Input*)
{
printf("Hello world!");
return 23;
}
int main char input
printf hello world
return 23
You still win!
How the bloody hell do you say printf? Print eff?
Yes!

there is so much logically wrong with that!
"char input*" makes no sense, even "char *input", which would be syntactically correct, woudln't make sense for main :P
your middle line isn't 7 syllables
Fine, replace with with iago.
And shh @ that! I haven't touched C++ in a long time, forgot where the * went!
Print Eff Hell Oh World
gg'd.
Do do Do do Do
De de De de De do Do
do Do de Haiku
Yes you do love me
iago likes food
he likes to eat all day long
because food is good
(Based on the pronuciation EYE-EH-GO)

I like the ascii art :p
I should have mentioned, the course is 74.216, and it was assignment 2.
Clever.
How about this?
iago roxors
he roxors all the boxors
newby owns iago

Either your first or last line are wrong. By the correct pronounciation of iago, the first one is.
I pronounce it both ways.
"eye-a-go-rox-ors"
"newby owns ya-go" :D
I use eye-a-go :\
Math Limerick!
12 + 144 + 20 + 3(4) 2

A dozen, a gross and a score,
Plus three times the square root of four,
Divided by seven,
Plus five times eleven,
Equals nine squared plus zero, no more!
3(4)
3 times the square root of four?
Quote from: UnknownA wonderful bird is a pelican
His bill can hold more than his belican
He can hold in his beak

Shut up, it's surprisingly hard to draw a square route in ascii :P
The calculation only works when you do 3 * 2, though.
3(4^(1/2))
Ask Yoni for the official ASCII way of writing all math symbols, he's bound to know them.
There's no standard ascii for square root, or many other symbols.
