I'd just like to announce that I'm the new site admin for wowfiles.com. (http://wowfiles.com)
If you have any downloads you want to suggest adding (wow addons/movies) you can contact me:
AIM: Avianca100
Email: team at wowfiles.com
Thanks!
:)
The new site admin, or a new site admin? I've never heard of the site, but congratulations :p
I would imagine option b is the correct one. Any site with 400,000 members is rarely singularly placed in the hands of one person.

I didn't even bother to look through the site, I just glanced and left.
Yeah upload BC beta so I can download it and give me a cd key :'(
I can give you the beta, but you're on your own for the key! :P
The new site admin.
The website is run through filefront and ziff davis media -- I was a File/News poster for a while, the old site admin quit, and I was chosen to be Site Admin for the site. :)
There is only one site admin per site.

Generally, but several of my sites we've used a universal administrative account so several trusted people could use the administrative capabilities.

They manage the site, add files, change the layout, manage affiliates, emails, etc.

I'm confused -- Are you asking if that's what
we do? Or are you talking about what
you do?
It's what I've done in the past. I generally gave 1-2 others the administrative password so we could work as a team and upkeep the site, I've always seen it as a better way than to have one person running a site.

Yeah, that does seem like a better way. I'm not allowed to make those changes, unfortunately. Only Network Admins get to do that. :(
tits or gtfo.
