This year is my first year in college. I decided that I wanted to get invovled so I could get to know some of the staff, and get to know the campus a lot better. So, I decided I would be the StuCo (Studen Council) representative for my floor. Since this is my first time in StuCo, I haven't really said much during the big StuCo meetings because of the fact I would probably make a fool out of myself. However, I am apart of the Web Team in StuCo which I do participate in a lot and I am very invovled in. Today was the first time we did StuCo Member of the Month which is a pretty big thing (atleast to me). Some how, I managed to get nominated as StuCo member of the month. When I heard my name, I litterally jumped in my seat. I was like, what the fuck? Are you for real? I had to double check the screen to make sure they were actually talking about me. There were four nominated people, including myself. Although, I didn't get member of the month, which I was glad I didn't get (the other three were very very invovled and have been in it longer than myself), but the fact that I was nominated made me really happy.
