Last night I bought one of these (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/884f/). I'll post some more stuff as I buy it. :)
My friend has a watch that does that. It's great fun in the classroom.
That's why I bought it. We have a bigscreen TV in our cafeteria that's used to run a repeating powerpoint of the day's announcements. I'll use the MTV button on that one. :)

Kidding, lol.

The funny thing is that is all true :)
At least you admit it. :)

How's that different from what you used to do, Joe?

He's transcended that level. He's reached a state of enlightenment.

And since Nirvana is far, far away from x86.. :)
Mm.. the ninja remote came this morning! It works with two of my four TVs, plus maybe one that's untested, but I doubt it because it's ancient++.
I think I'm going to buy that too! ;D
I took it to work today. It was a real hit befopre we opened (maintence was really slow turning our water on).
I have had something like that before. I used a palm pilot with the school TVs programmed in. Another time, I used a remote compatible with the school TVs because we had an identical TV at home. Loads of fun.
On the PSP, I can use iRShell and the IRCommander plugin. Sure it's a little bulkier, but it works :P
Ooh, that actually sounds fun! You should write a plugin for that sometime.

http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/input/8396/ - Das Keyboard II
I'm not going to order the keyboard right away, but I definately want one (my parents will have a very dumb look on their face when they try guessing my password and can't see which key is which.. neither are "competent keyboarders").
Why would you want a keyboard without keys? That almost seems completely asinine. If you want to spend money on a good keyboard, get a Z-Board or a Logitech G15.

It has keys, they're just not labeled. I rarely ever look at my keyboard, so it's mostly a method of defense.. nobody but me (and other people who I don't live with) can use the keyboard.

You knew what I meant... :P
It's still retarded. If you don't pick stupid passwords, you shouldn't have anything to worry about...

I don't pick stupid passwords. Mine's a combination of Greek and Latin letters, plus numerals. So, if you did get physical access (past my dog, bedroom door lock, etc) you'd still have to guess that. To me, a Das Keyboard would be a novelty, but still cool.
You're so whack. Go get laid again.

Someone in our church district has them, and I swear that at every district wide event (camp, convention), I get shot by it.

Again? When was the first time?
SINNER!!!!!!!
zomg, yer rite..
Megazooka (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/729d/) looks cooler.
Possibe shopping list:
Megazooka (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/729d/)
Sick Day Handbook (http://www.thinkgeek.com/books/humor/8480/)
Steal This Computer Book 4.0 (http://www.thinkgeek.com/books/nonfiction/8455/)
For the time being, Das Keyboard is off the list because that's way too much for a novelty.
The book looks like an interesting read, and hopefully I can get my dad to read it afterwards, so he'll side with me a bit more when I try to tell him my brother (and his "MSN Block Checker", "MyWay Search Engine", etc) is full of shit.
EDIT -
The Spam Letters (http://www.thinkgeek.com/books/humor/70a5/) and Prank University (http://www.thinkgeek.com/books/humor/87f1/) look like a good combination to make you have a better day at other's expense.
EDIT -
I'm not going to buy one, but Spork of the Gods (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/8ace/) looks like a nice gift.
I'll be the next person to allow the suggestion to save your money to persist. Do you think you'll be using any of these silly things in a month from now? A year from now?

One book is educational. The other two will take a while to complete.
The Sick Day handbook will be used as a reference book.
Megazooka will constantly find itself new victims. It'll take a while to get tired of that one.
So far, the Ninja Remote hasn't bored me.
Spork of the Gods does seem retarded though.
I didn't say they wouldn't entertain you. I'm suggesting you save your money, not spend it on what I believe to be cooler things.

The soprk is pretty cool. I got my friend one for his birthday. I have a few, too. I use them all the time, and I have one tossed in my camping stuff along with that sweedish fire (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/754d/)http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/7f02/knifes[/url]. They're all pretty useful if you actually like.. do stuff.
Joe... I second Sidoh's notion; save your money.
Super_X, I'm going to buy an iPod and then a drumkit (which will obviously be used on the long-term, and then have re-sell value if they don't reach the end of their lifespan by the time I'm tired of them), and then re-evaulate my shopping list. I make good enough money that I could buy a few small things and not break a long-term budget. I totally recognize the need for saving for college, but remember that I'm just a sophomore so I have time, and I'm going to end up buying a few kid things.
EDIT -
Sweedish Fire is just flint and steel times twenty, right?
