Title: Stupid Windows
Post by: rabbit on December 12, 2006, 08:24:25 AM
I can't right click inside Start > Programs.  Well, I can, but the context menu doesn't show up, and I want my stuff sorted.  I can right click everywhere else though.  Anyone know what's up?

I'm confused what you're trying to do.  Are you trying to organize the programs but you can't see them?  What version of Windows are you using and are you using any sort of Windows skinning program?

XP.  I can see everything in there just fine, I just can't bring up the context menu (right-click) inside the "Programs" part.

There's probably a more elegant fix, but try renaming your profile.  If that works, change it back and rename NTUSER.

Didn't work.  I forgot to mention: I can sort using the gay Start Menu, but not with Classic.

Haha.  I'm not sure.  Did you try google groups?

HAHAHAHAHA! I had this problem for the longest time.  And then I somehow fixed it.  It's possible, just not sure how at the moment.  :-\
