Hahahha. Wish I could have seen that in person. Heheheh.
Pffft. I've seen bigger.
Keep it on the basketball court, pal.
Wait, what?
How credible is that article? Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Pershing_Wadlow) says the tallest man was eight foot eleven. And if they're talking about tallest man alive, IIRC, half the Wisconsin Badgers (football) are over 8 feet tall.

................Xishun is the tallest man alive according to Guinness World Records; Robert Pershing Wadlow is dead, so that automatically disqualifies him from this contest. On a side note, Wikipedia has two other men listed claiming to be 8 ft. 4 in., but apparently those results have not been verified independently.

Wikipedia isn't always right. :P
In this case, it is. I have the latest edition of the Guinness Book of World Records and they list Xi Shun as the tallest man alive.
