I have glasses now for reading and distance.. *sigh*
Atleast I don't have to wear them all the time!
What's wrong with that? I had bifocals back in 7th grade, but then in another prescription they were changed to.. monofocals? Anyhow, I wear glasses.
I had bifocals in middle school, too. Meh... I just don't want to wear them. :(
Then get contacts. :P
Glasses are self-annoying at worst. People used to get made fun of them, but then we graduated to middle school. :P
I don't have to wear them all the time, so contacts would just be annoying.
I have contacts and glasses, the contacts are definately more of a pain than the glasses. I generally keep my glasses in my bookbag and use them only for class. I really only wear my contacts when I want to play football/frisbee/etc
join the club man!
Contacts blow. They're much less annoying when they're in and aren't irritating your eyes, but for some reason, I'm unable to wear the kind I have comfortably for more than a day. They're Night and Days, which are supposed to allow for up to a month of continued wear, but over the few years I've had them, the time between "breaks" has increased from a month to a day. I'm going to get a new kind next time I order 'em.
Glasses aren't that bad, I had them for years.
Meh.. I just don't want them!! :(
I have two pair, so it's kind of a pain in the ass to haul around both pairs. One is for reading and other close up activities and the other pair is for distance. I guess I was straining my eyes so much with close up things that they are starting to act like they are near sided, too. *sigh*
Atleast the distance ones are corrective lenses, but the farsided ones might not be.. I can't remember ><!
/me wonders why doc didn't give you bifocals, then..
She did. But the lab person said that it is for old people and that since I wanted no-line bifocals my space of vision for my reading would be very small. And it would take 10 days to get my non-reflective thing on it, so eh?
I've been wearing contacts for like, 10 years or so now. And I love 'em. I've had very few problems with contacts.
I think i need a new pair of glasses, mine are getting out of prescription and they are all scratched up. The only thing bad about contacts is if you have been wearing glasses a long time and then you switch to contacts its like your a whole new person.

Haha, yeah. When my friend went from glasses to contacts it was very obvious. It was a lot to get used to. It looked as if he wasn't complete or something.
