I got my W-2 today, and if I have any clue what I'm doing, the law owes me $68.74. Of course, I'm making my dad fill the form out.
How about you guys?
I'll be getting like 5? W2s, or something ridiculous...
I need to figure out how to go about starting all of this :(. IRS.gov I spose
I claimed nothing, so I hope I get nothing.
I'm waiting on a W-2 and a 1099. Last year I had an $800 return; this year I expect something slightly less because I didn't have withholding from one of my jobs, but not too much. Plus I have a (near) amount of the taxes stored in savings; they become spending cash if I have any return.
I'm self employed, so I have to do more paperwork...
My dad is going to be cool and get his accountant to do it for me. ;D

Well, your professor is just trying to pass as many people as possible to make him/her look good.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but he doesn't seem like the type to do that. He's 10-yeared, so he doesn't have to worry much about being an incompetent professor. Plus, he's mentioned several times that he thinks professors who don't do their job should be fired, regardless of the number of years they've been there.
He does like to make himself look good though. He's his biography:
QuoteDr. Steven Shulman is a child prodigy who received his Ph.D. in 2006 at the age of 13. Since then he has taught at Colorado State University, where he is known primarily for his ability to irritate almost everybody. His thousands of publications all discuss supply and demand, or in other words, demand and supply. Despite his nomination for the Nobel Prize, the Department of Economics continues to deny him his basic human rights. In his spare time he is a Zen master, a jet pilot, and a breeder of exceedingly small, loud dogs. His wife and son deny that they know him.
lol.

Do you mean "tenured"? Tenure doesn't have to be given after 10 years...
