...downloaded, running trial version.
uhm, sorta missing having the more clear display of XP :( I guess my video card sucks?
also, I miss my programs, but I'll get all of that taken care of once I get my disc and make sure that I've installed the full version.
Havent played around much yet, but it is looking promising...nothing I would go out and buy right now...but since it is "free", COOL!
How do I change the RSS Feeds to Fark.com? ;)
Need to adjust my display to widescreenm, thatll probably fix bluriness

You keep getting yourself into these holes.
If Microsoft doesn't break away from backwards compatibility people complain, if they do people complain as well.
WDDM was finalized with ample time for the driver developers to write new drivers for it. If they fuck up, then it is
not Microsoft's fault. It is the fault of the driver vendor, thus they are the one you should cry to.
Actually, now that I think about it, you have a point. :-(.
oh well, eventually itll be fine enough....its pretty rockin now that it isnt fuzzy!!!!!!!
downloaded vista upgrade, nvidia upgrade, hp upgrades, & other misc upgrades and now everything works as it did in XP.
no more weird "display driver error" crap, my "auxiliary" hp launch buttons function as stock, hell yeah
edit:
it updated sound too, I had to go disable that cause it was fux0ring up everything
/me is on Vista Ultimate.
oooh, I just finished voice recognition tutorial...
wonder how well this will work
QuoteOrder Status : Order awaiting shipment

!??!?!?!?!?!?!
That's the status on my Vista upgrade disc........WTF!?
SHIP ON APRIL 6TH!?....damn people.
& only 32bit, lame. I might just go buy a 64bit upgrade disc & do it that way, this 30day trial expires in 26 days, maybe I can find that "timer crack" that allows it to just keep running
:o
I just got my new computer with Vista Home Premium installed. Does the screen flicker for you any of you when you're installing a new program and the background darkens and it wants you to say you trust this program or you don't (whew, run on sentence)?
EDIT: Let me rephrase that. When UAC comes up to verify a program, does your screen flicker?

flicker, no. darken, yess.
By the way, do you seriously have to go through UAC to change your background on Vista? Somebody mentioned it today, and I kind of assumed he's exaggerating, because if you have to, that's going too far.

No, I don't think so. Well, for me atleast, no.
Does anyone know how to get into "Local Security Policy?" I tried typing in "secpol.msc" & "Local Security Policy" in the search box as instructed by Google searches. But that was to no avail.
