Title: Eric the Unlikely
Post by: iago on February 11, 2007, 09:08:36 PM
It's a super fun little dos game I used to play. It's like a text-based adventure with simplistic graphics, and it's designed to be humorous. If I remember right, it's only good for a few hours of gameplay, but I really like it. You can find it for free on abandonware sites, just google it.

Here's a screenshot that made me laugh, it's a response to the command, "blow tree":

I just got to a castle which contains one of the sacred artifacts, The Crescent Wrench of Armageddon. There's a big wooden rabbit outside, and the guy in the castle called, "Zees castle ees ze resting place of ze Crescent Wrench of Armageddon. Vous must go away toot suite or we shall empty our noses in ze air towards you" :)

<edit> He says several quotes, actually, including "I bare my bottom in your general direction!"

<edit2> It turns out, to get into the castle, you walk around the back, and the back wall is totally missing. I guess they hadn't finished building it!
