I'll be picking up: AP Calc AB (someone convince me why I should take BC/how much harder it is), AP US History, AP Language Composition (??) (juniors?).
I'm not going to pick up: AP Biology (There's no way in fucking HELL I'll get a 4. There's a snowball's chance in Hell of a 3.)
I may pick up: AP Spanish (I've had at least a dozen people tell me it was hard, but then I've got people telling me it was really easy. I don't know; I'm not good with comprehension when they run their mouth for the listening part. And today, I got an "8" on the 1-9 AP scale (according to my teacher's judgement) when I had to talk for two minutes about pictures I didn't prepare for.)
Thoughts? What AP tests are you taking?!
Just AP US History. I'm looking for a 4 or 5.
AP World History(4-5), AP Computer Science(5), AP Environmental Science(4-5), AP English Language & Composition(3).
AP Literature
AP US Government
AP Comparative Government
and maybe AP Environmental Science

bro the only reason I'm taking AP US Govt is because I got a 2 when I took it in 9th grade and I'm trying to raise my score because if I do well on that and comparative then I test out of the 1st year of pol sci.

BC requires a lot more knowledge of Integrals, series (especially Taylor Series I'm sure), etc (calc 2 stuff).

I signed up for all the abovementioned AP tests, including biology (it can't hurt to try) and calc BC (apparently one chapter we don't cover = stuff I need for BC exam, so I'm good.)

So I decided to take all of these since my city is paying for 2 and my school is paying for 2 so they are all free for me.
Yeah, I was surprised that Newby had to pay for his. Here, for any AP class you take, the corresponding test is free.
WTF? They are $85 a pop here.
My freshman year we had to pay for them (but I only had one so it wasn't a big deal really)
My sophmore year the school covered 1 I think.
My junior year the school covered 2, but I had my 3rd paid for because not enough kids were taking it and it looked bad.
This year the city is paying for two and the schools paying for your 3rd or 4th. It's a sweet deal.
For my school district it's $20/$15/free for first second and additional tests (respectively)
