This goes out to anyone who calls System of a Down metal... or slipknot metal etc. :)
<3
I didn't know anyone actually thought Avenged Sevenfold was metal. :P
So what does A7X, Trivium, Atreyu, As I Lay Dying?, Slipknot, Underoath (eww), Bullet For My Valentine, ???, fall under?

Some of those are numetal or metalcore (which is a variation of hardcore punk). I can't speak for all of those, though.

I think those are all pretty much numetal, not even on target enough for metalcore :P

I seem to remember seeing As I Lay Dying, and that they were Metalcore. But I could be wrong.

I haven't heard them recently so I couldn't say anything either :)

Just bad.
Fucking beautiful. Tis all I have to say.
EDIT: I would've liked to see Symphony X or even Pantera make it on there.
That thing was stupid. It's calling anything not metal if it isn't hair.

Hellhammer sure as shit isn't hair metal. Neither is Slayer or Exodus. Manowar is pretty much heavy fucking metal. Not even hair metal.
Hair doesn't make metal, noob.

Death & Thrash both own.
Death is better, don't fix correct posts. :P
