I've tried getting into WoW twice before but wasn't really feeling it, but a lot of kids on my lacrosse team play so I thought about maybe trying it again. It'd probably be more fun if I was playing with other people, so I think I'm going to do the trial. What type of character should I be?
I'm not sure what realm they play on or if they're alliance or horde. But it doesn't matter as I could always start a new character after I see them on Monday. I want to get some experience today though. How do I go about leveling up?
Killing stuff. Doing quests. ;)
Don't do it.
For the love of God, don't start.

I don't find WoW very addicting... I don't have an urge to play daily. :/

No, they'd all go to the local Lead Emo's house and cry, then when the internet came back they'd commit myspace suicides.
If there were no electricity at my house for the day, you know what I'd do? Go to work. Yup, I would. Get myself some money. Because unlike most of you think, I have a job and a life. :P
I went without electricity for 7 days after Hurricane Isabelle back in 9th grade. I think I'd survive.
Anyway, I'm staying home from school today to play WoW. lol.

Seriously.

... or on Balnazaar. I, too, am on way too much and probably won't help you out a whole lot. Ofcourse, once you're in Outland, in approximately 20 days of /played time, you can join me in my daily struggle to find instance groups, so I can become revered. You can also listen to me brag about how bad ass I am, because I was #1 on the healing meters during our downing of Gruul!
I'm on Andorhal because that's the one Newby plays on and he helped me get started. If someone wants to pay the $25 to switch my character though, I'll consider. :P

Nobody actually will help people out. I was told I'd be hooked up, and my buddy had "1800 gold" and that I'd get hooked up.
I got a total of 2 gold I paid back, and 2 runs. One through VC, one through gnomer. Oh, and two through ZF.

Or Kargath. I run people through instances all the time. And I'm generous with money. I don't need it for anything, so.. *shrug*
haha all the kids on my lacrosse team play on different servers too. at least two play on some 'Az' server (I forget the rest of the name) and I'd like a horde character too so I might roll on there at some point since they play horde.

The only case a Paladin can stunlock something is if it can one shot it. We had a 6 second stun on a 1 minute cooldown, and that's it, other than I guess Seal of Justice which sucks in PvP. Unless you're judging Seal of Command, which I've found useless now that they've buffed Seal of Righteousness.

yall are all noobs at leveling. cmon. never run an instance over and over if youre trying to gain like several levels. the only time id ever settle for instance runs while leveling was if i needed like a guaranteed 4 or 5 bars, and the only instance i ever got that much from was ZF, in tanaris. just keep questing. itll get annoying at times but it's the best way to level quickly. i was like 45 or almsot 50 with only 6 days of played time. i slowed down after 50 because the person i quested with mostof the time got a few levels ahead of me while i was sick one day, but even solo questing from 50 to 70 got me there with 19 days of total 1-70 /played time.
SM and ZF give hella bars.
I had a lot more fun questing than running instances. I tried every instance I could at least once, but none of them were really that awesome to me. I want to say the best one I ever ran was Blackfathom Depths; I just loved it there.

Solo questing ftw. I don't really do instances unless I have a quest, I need the rep, or theres an uber item I want in there. I usually quit after about the 3rd try of an instance if the item doesn't drop. :p

When you reach the level cap you can't go any higher so there won't be any new content, so blizzard has to provide a way to keep you playing at that level cap. So... blizzard spends more time on end game content to keep people playing! Otherwise why spend that time on content you surpass through leveling?

Wait a second. You mean questing around getting crappy rewards isn't enough to keep people playing? So, you're saying that as long as the person is levelling up and will eventually have no need to go to that place, it's fine to provide sub-par content? I think there should be awesome things to do at all levels, not just the level cap. Promises of better content later really just don't do it for me.

I don't consider that sub-par -.-. I think that content is at par, and level cap content is above par, so maybe in comparison it does.

I normally have all of my WF quests done by 17, and the majority of quests in Redridge can't be solo'd at 17 ( efficiently ), so running The Deadmines is not only the fastest way to level ( I gain at LEAST 1/3 level rested each run ) but you get a chance at getting better gear.
