WPL is a bit higher than me.

Un'Goro unfortunately had a level 70 who went OUT of his way to camp me. He would /no me multiple times, polymorph me, 1shot me with some fireball spell, then /rofl multiple times. Then when I got to my corpse he was sitting on it.

After about 20 minutes of it, I hearthed out and took res sickness. :P

level 70 chars really don't have anything to do, other than wait till about 8pm, or so, and run karazhan with the guild. :P so he wasn't entirely out of his way - probably gathering herbs, or helping somebody.

That sounds fun, actually..

WPL is like 50+ you should be fine.

I rape so much face. A group of 58's nothing but Blood elfs were doing the Alas'Andorhal quest and I raped them all before they even pulled. Iam harder then some Scholo bosses =]

Kaleeko told me that! There are only 3 quests there.

This laptop is too piss poor to play WoW.... I logged on and got 2 gold for summoning a guy and couldn't tolerate it so I got off.

WPL is indeed a little too hard for lv50, I'd wait until around lv52 or quest with a friend there.

is that what you always play on? if the laptop cant handle eastern kingdoms, or kalimdor, it wont be able to handle outland.

There are a quite a few quests scattered around there, just have to find them.  Most are chains IIRC.

Part of your 50 lock quest is there too, if you haven't done it yet.

No. My main PC can handle WoW @ highest settings... so I am good. :)

There's actually 119 quests. (http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=361)

EDIT -
Do the An Imp's Request (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8419) and What Niby Commands (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7601) quests. The former gets you your Soul Harvester (or the Abyss Shard) and the latter gets you your Inferno.

I hate healing as a drood. I personally prefer tanking. I'd rather have someone taking care of my health while things are pounding on me than the other way around. I won't play no sissy heal bitch.

I prefer to heal on my Paladin, although I do occasionally tank.  Oh, and without a sissy heal bitch:

You = dead

Hey, I don't mind my sexy healing man bitches. I have three very male healers healing me while I tank Karazhan, and I appreciate them very much for being able to do something that I really suck at. But, it makes them my bitches. I will DEFINETLY not be anyone's bitch, ESPECIALLY our main tank.

(I ended up tanking the DPS target last night, and I'm under suspicious it was because he couldn't hold aggro off the shadow priests and I could...)

And, Joe, I will be just as manly as I want to be, k thanx. (It's prep for when I roll a lesbian in 2.4! ... Kidding.)

Droods need to respec and heal me.

Warriors ftw

Warriors are for the win. Honestly, end-game, I think warriors are the most rewarding class to have at level 70 and running high level instances, and raids.

Eh, leveling a Warrior is a bitch. So is PvP. When you roll a Warrior, unless you're really good (like me) you're a tank and nothing else.

We're underpowered against all classes except rogues and warriors.

Shadow priests and Warlocks are needed in a lot of the end game instances.  That's the thing about WoW, if you roll a Warrior or Priest you're almost guaranteed a group at any time.

Until you get to endgame... that's the way it was when I played, anyway.

Have you played TBC end game?  I constantly see "LF1M X - Warlock or Shadow priest pref!", crap like that.

A good Warrior is guaranteed a spot in an up and coming raiding guild. There are a lot of tanks, but not much good tanks. I'm going to have to do the painstaking work of speccing Prot at lv60 on my trek to lv70. I want to be able to tank my best for the Outland instances to be first inline for any sexy gear.

Is it worth it? Or should I wait until lv70 and until my guild goes endgame to respec?

No.  I'm talking like raid instances, though.

That doesn't mean things haven't changed... I'm just saying what I observed when I still played. ;)

I don't know how many guilds on Maelstrom are doing endgame, probably a handful. Even if they don't need an MT right away they can always have a backup tank on the back burner there to pick up spare epics :)

Maelstrom is pretty slow on end game progression compared to a lot of other servers.

Warrior, don't go prot until you're either 70, or very close to it. The time it'd take to level during instances only, makes switching to protection spec not worth it right there. But, once you're 70, yeah, find a good raiding guild and you'll always be running Karazhan and Gruul, and so on. You will probably also be first in line to get the tier gear drops, if it's a warrior item, and you are in fact a good tank.

Agreed! My first character was a warrior, I stopped playing at 46 or 47. Then I made a warlock which is happily sitting at 65, and I rogue I haven't touched in months which is 34 or so, both of which were much, much easier to level.

I don't think I got my warrior past 25 or so.... wasn't really because they were hard to level, I just found them very very boring. :\

It's rewarding to tank and get compliments on tanking. Also being able to reliably rock rogues is fun too :). I love when a rogue grows the balls to ambush me. They have to be incredibly skilled and/or lucky to beat me. Then it will never happen again :)
